Jeff and Penny burned the plants in their garden over the weekend, in preparation for this year's planting. Some of last year's red pepper plants still had dried peppers on them. The flames created a mental image of "hot peppers"!

During Brooklyn's soccer game the other night, Penny took this picture of the beautiful sunset illuminating the clouds in the western sky (click on photo to enlarge).

Brooklyn's coed soccer team is comprised of girls and boys in the 7th and 8th grades. They played their first scheduled game last night, but lost 5-1 (their top scoring player missed the game because of illness).
