The Lady Devils took 3rd place overall in the state volleyball tournament in Orem this afternoon. They won both of their games yesterday, then lost to South Summit this afternoon. They then rebounded to defeat Waterford later in the evening for the 3rd place trophy.

A new pedestrian bridge spans the Colorado River north of Moab, a hundred yards or so east of the existing bridge that carries vehicle traffic. That bridge (top photo) will soon be replaced by a new one that is under construction. The pedestrian bridge (bottom two photos) allows people on foot or bicycle a safer way to cross the large river.

Snow fell this morning for the first time this season in Moab. More than three inches fell at Jeff's house and in other areas around town, but almost all of the snow had melted away by mid-afternoon.
